Taylor
Taylor Swift, the rarest pop sensation, is one who managed to move across the border between country music and mainstream culture, and has become an icon of the pop world. The singer also conquered the entire globe by doing so. Swift removed herself from the roots of country she was raised with like it's second nature to her, showing that she is the best pop singer/songwriter of her time. Swift could make the experience personal, while also recording the atmosphere. Her early songs such as the neotribute in tribute to Tim McGraw were a testament of her ability. But, her follow-up album Fearless of 2008 proved to be an artist who found her voice as well as a wide crowd. Fearless was a huge success not only in the United States, where six of its singles were certified platinum on the backs of Top Ten hit songs Love Story and Belong with Me. But it also performed well around the globe. Swift managed to build upon her achievements with Speak Now almost two year later. Over the next three years, her popularity increased -the albums - Red (2012), Reputation (2014) and 1989 (2014-2015) in 2014-2015 as Swift entered the realm of pop, where her abilities were well-established. She continued to be at the top of pop even when she scaled down her style in her sister albums folklore in 2020 and Evermore.
