Paula Patton has a distinguished career as an actress, producer and director. She is most well-known for her starring part in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into a middle-class household living in Los Angeles, she harboured huge dreams when she was a kid. A passion for film in her daughter was something that she learned from her mother who was also a fan of movies. Paula participated in co-curricular school activities, and she particularly enjoyed the drama. Paula loved playing the role of an actor alongside her peers and was a participant in the school's stage productions. Through a program for summer in the University of Southern California, she was awe-inspiring there. She was given a three month project to create documentary films for PBS. Her first job was as a production assist for TV documentaries following her successful completion of the project. Then, she switched to producing documentaries. The work was enjoyable but was determined to pursue a career as an actor. She started her acting career by playing a minor part on the movie romantic comedy Hitch along with Will Smith. Since then, she has appeared in a number of famous television and film productions.
