Lowell started her acting career when played the role in Dangerously Close. She then appeared in a small role on the Robin Williams film Club Paradise. [4] She went on to roles including co-starring as Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) and, starting in 1996, as assistant district attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons on the TV drama Law & Order, a role she reprised in 2005 to play a guest character in the spinoff series, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and reprised the role on the original show in 2022 when it returned for a 21st-season. In the immediate time before landing that role, however she was unhappy with her acting career , and decided to pursue a degree in documentary filmmaking at New York University. [4] She was not acting until the mid-2000s. In 2012, Lowell lent her likeness as well as voice while reprising her Licence to Kill role in the video game 007 Legends. She returned to television in 2018, and was on Blue Bloods as a guest. [7][8] Personal life Lowell was married three times. Her first husband was a fashion photographer John Stember, to whom she was married from 1984 to 1988. [9][10] She was married from 1989 until 1995 to actor Griffin Dunne and they have one daughter, Hannah.
